Our Deruta Orvieto Rooster Pitcher is hand painted in full Italian regalia and will greet every morning with spirit and charm. Galletto Orvieto is a pattern that originated during the Renaissance in the hill top town of Orvieto Italy and inspired by the paintings of animals on Italian Majolica. A quaint, charming provincial pattern that features a “Galletto” Rooster that symbolizes blessings, prosperity and good wishes. Fully glazed and triple fired for durability, these pitchers are easy to pour and dishwasher safe.  Also makes a lovely vase for fresh cut flowers.
